Jason Engleke Ambassador

Growing up racing BMX and riding the streets of Portland, Jason fell in love with the freedom and excitement bicycles bring, as soon as he swung his leg over his first baby blue Huffy.

Bikes took a back seat when as he got his driver's license, but 3 kids and 200 lbs later, Jason knew he needed a change. In 2013, he found his passion once again in the saddle of an entry-level mountain bike. Riding the local single track trails was just like riding BMX as a kid! Jason currently races as a Cat 1 MTB, local Road Criteriums, and will try Cyclocross this fall. His most epic ride was 55 miles on the mountain bike, in a frigid 4 degrees over snow and ice. In 4 years, cycling has helped him lower his cholesterol, lose 50 lbs, and be in healthier than he’s ever been.
